A brief overview of using the MIT Libraries and searching the literature is provided as part of the lectures on the first day of class. In addition, two sessions will be scheduled with Phoebe Ayers, the interim Chemical Engineering Librarian. At least one member of each team is required to attend one of these sessions. It is recommended that all members of a team attend the same session, if possible.
See https://libguides.mit.edu/10-26 to preview resources covered in these sessions. The sessions will discuss strategies to find and evaluate data and information in chemical engineering as well as resources for managing your references and research data. These skills will help you in 10.26 as well as future lab and graduate work.

This session will be held over Zoom, and the link will be distributed to registrants. If you prefer an in-person workshop, see the session on Wednesday Feb 11, 2026.
