Join us at the Wunsch Conservation Lab for a studio experience tailored for the MIT community! Whether you prefer guided sessions or the freedom to work independently, we have something for everyone. Our team from the Department of Distinctive Collections and collaborators will showcase pop-up displays and guided hands-on session, offering inspiration and insight. Mark your calendars for three engaging afternoons: Tuesday, January 21, Wednesday, January 22, and Thursday, January 23, from 1 PM to 4 PM in the Wunsch Conservation Lab (room 14-0513). - Learning about our cutting-edge scientific research 

- Letterlocking conservation

- Making your spinning wheel in a book

- Observing innovative treatment projects

- Sewing a journal to capture your thoughts 

- Writing with a quill for a touch of elegance 

At the Wunsch Conservation Lab, we care for the Institute's invaluable collections and teach the rich history and technology behind bookmaking, printing, and writing.
