Are you starting a project? Writing a paper, proposal or thesis in EECS? You will need to find and cite background and related information. This short workshop will cover tools for finding papers, books, data and code in electrical engineering and computer science, as well as finding other formats like standards, patents and more. We'll also cover ways to think about search strategies, tools for organizing searching, and the role of a "related work," "background" or "literature review" section in a paper. This workshop will be relevant to any student or researcher who is new to writing EECS papers or wants an overview of tools available at MIT.

This workshop will be over Zoom and link will be provided to registrants. Researchers in all disciplines are welcome but examples will mainly be related to EECS and many tools shown will be limited access to MIT affiliates.

Date:
