Join the MIT Libraries for a conversation with Jarrett Drake!

The MIT Libraries’ Committee on the Promotion of Diversity and Inclusion (CPDI) invite you to a special event commemorating Juneteenth (the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States) with a discussion about the intersection of race, archives, and libraries. Jarrett Drake, PhD student in Social Anthropology at Harvard and advisory archivist for A People’s Archives of Police Violence in Cleveland, will be in conversation with MIT Libraries' Teaching & Learning Program Manager and Liaison Librarian for Comparative Media Studies/Writing, Sofia Leung. This event is free and open to the public.
