This workshop will introduce Carto as a tool for creating customized online maps and performing basic data analysis. You will learn how to find and add a historic basemap to Carto, import present-day geographic data, and analyze the data using a few of the Carto tools. We will provide sample data, but feel free to bring your own if you have it. Bring your laptop or use a lab computer.

MIT users please sign up for an MIT Carto account before class: https://libguides.mit.edu/gis/webmap
